I’m a mom, an artist, a writer, and—for nearly ten years—a customer service representative working the graveyard shift in the Philippine BPO industry.
But here’s the truth:
I didn’t choose this job. Necessity did.
And while I’m grateful for every bill it paid, every school year it funded, and the condo I got from Pag-IBIG, I’ve decided to stop pretending. BPO is not my forever.
